WHAT IS SUBARASHII?

Subarashii is an online clothing store that focuses on providing eco-friendly, bespoke fashion at affordable prices.

As well as being able to shop on our main website, you are also able to subscribe to a service in which you choose up to 10 themes and, at the end of every month, you are sent shirts based on the theme(s) you chose.

At Subarashii, we want to reduce the amount of plastic in the ocean, beaches and landfills, which is why all of our products are made from 100% recycled materials, sourced from our suppliers and manufacturers that are appropriately certified. We’re aiming to minimise the damage we do to the planet to help make the world a better place to live.

All of the designs on the main website were made by Suli. He thinks that the world should have more artists so, if you think you can do better, submit your designs to designs@wearesubarashii.co.uk for a chance for your design to be featured on the store.

Once your design has been put on the store, you’ll receive a percentage of the net profit it makes. The rest will go to Subarashii and our 6 charities.

At Subarashii we like to give back, so a percentage of all of our net profit is given to various different charities that aim to support minority groups, such as people of colour, members of the LGBTQ+ community and disabled people.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

SULI IRSHAD (HE/HIM)

Suli has always felt strongly about respecting life, the planet and appreciating other cultures and lifestyles, and wanted to find a way to follow that path: a business that uses 100% recycled materials, produces unique designs and has a facility whereby customers can ask for their clothes to be recycled again or be donated to suitable charitable projects helping people around the world.

Supporting minority groups is hugely important to Suli - there’s no reason they should be treated the way they are, whether it’s people of colour, women, disabled people, or members of the LGBTQ+ community. Being proud of who you are is so important to Suli; everyone deserves to, and should, be loved - platonically or otherwise.
